The windows are the only windows in the apartment (aside from the kitchen window). Because my apartment is several floors up and looks into a park I usually never close the blinds. I'm thinking a wood valance that covered the blinds when they're pulled up, plus some decorative drapes would improve the look though.

More furniture of the same height. Badly hung pictures. Clutter. Back of ugly, uncomfortable sofa. It's probably going to be a while before I can afford to replace the sofa.
